Re: Rakuten securities notifications
I have gotten 1 email this far (which is fine) but it details how eMaxis is doing (below) and not how my investment is doing. Is there a setting for that? You are right. These mails show the value of the products you have purchased, but not your individual portfolio. As suggested, this is probably ...

Re: Rakuten securities notifications
That's right, you can change the notifications under "email service". You get there like this... 「マイメニュー」→お客様情報の設定・変更「メールサービス」→通知メール「投信お知らせメール」にてお手続きください。 Email service is located in the red bar near the top of the お客様情報一覧 Actually, I've been meaning to change these settings for about 4 y...

Remember the issue of gift taxes if your wife is not investing her money but yours.
Japan is a mess in this regard.

Rakuten securities notifications
This question does not apply exclusively to the New NISA (subforum) but it is unclear to me where to put it.
So.
Is there a way to enable email notifications in Rakuten securities to receive, say, monthly updates?
My Japanese is wobbly and the site is complex for the uninitiated.
Thanks.

Re: NISA General Questions | SBI
Am I correct to understand that the "growth portion" you speak of applies to the so-called "spot purchase" allocation, the one with the 2.4 million yen cap? Yes. I am trying to target here the 1.2 million tsumitate allocation. Would you know how to make that 1-time "bonus&q...

Re: NISA General Questions | SBI
If you utilise the growth portion too, you can tsumitate up to ¥300k/mo. It's confusing because tsumitate is both the name of the tsumitate portion, and a term meaning regular investments. There's no reason you can't set up regular investments into the growth portion, too, for a maximum of ¥300k/mo...

Re: NISA General Questions | SBI
can it be greater? No, the maximum is 100,000 yen a month. There is a 'bonus' payment feature you can use if you are not going to fill your tsumitate allowance (if you started late or your monthly payment is less than 100,000 yen) but you can't set the monthly payment above 100,000. Much appreciated.

Re: NISA General Questions | SBI
What is the maximum payment per month that can be made in NISA tsumitate? Does it need to be 100,000 yen or can it be greater? If monthly payments greater than 100,000 yen can be made and the NISA allocation for tsumitate for that year is fulfilled earlier, would the purchases stop automatically? Sa...
