Die With Zero edition

Seems like everyone and their dog read Die With Zero this week. I did too! So we’ll be doing a full review on the blog next week.

Spoiler: I thought it wasn’t a particularly good book, but found immense value in it.

I also managed to write a few blog posts yesterday, so there should be a bit more activity on the site over the next couple of weeks. Otanoshimi!

Real Estate Article

I was interviewed briefly for an article about real estate in Japan for foreigners. I’m in the last paragraph.

The forum this week

The forum is looking good. We’re almost at 1,000 registered members.

This week’s books

This week I read Die With Zero, by Bill Perkins, and found it incredibly thought-provoking (but not a very good book), started reading Eat to Live, by Joel Fuhrman (recommended by Bill Perkins and somewhat smug at least in the first couple of chapters, and Lethal White, by Robert Galbraith (book 4 in the mystery series).

One Response

  1. #17: Thanks for the dowsing article. My father worked in the coal business and was taught how to dowse by NCB engineers back in the 1980s. They used a couple of brass welding rods, one in each hand, which were supposed to swing towards each other as you approached a water source. I’ve got fond memories of me and my brother trying (unsuccessfully) to dowse in our back garden ourselves when we were kids.
