Re: Crypto's going crazy again!

Some get it, most don't. They will, in time. By then Bitcoin will be $100,000 or more. I will remind you all of this post when it happens. Do yourselves a favour, put at least 5% of your net worth in Bitcoin.

Re: Save on average 20% on accommodation

Thanks for your responses NOObster. I think it's good to have a healthy amount of skepticism. My investment in the platform is via owning the cryptocurrency used to make it possible, and in helping grow and maintain our community. Yes, I have used the service. If you read the article you will see so...

Hi all, it's been a while since I posted but I've been following the forum and the updated website etc. Keep up the great work Ben! I know there have been a few discussions on cryptocurrency and blockchain before, with people sitting on both sides. Many don't understand its benefits because they hav...

Re: Please help - JP Internet Banking?

Investing is a long-term thing. That's one of the things I have learnt over the last few years. A few days won't hurt - take the time to do some more research :)

Re: The Psychology of Money

I read this the other day. A good read. Learning to roll with the punches is one of the most important lessons in investing. Just ride it out and keep investing.

Re: SBI/NISA: putting money into the account

I opened an SBI hybrid account. Makes deposits and withdrawals very easy (instantaneous and free). They also give you a debit card, also handy for online purchases (I don't like credit cards). And the card gets you free withdrawals at 7-eleven, Family Mart etc.

Yeah, I was also caught out by this. It's just to cover their asses if it drops in price before the sale can be executed. It could well go up in price.

Re: House Insurance

Am I overinsured? My father-in-law seems to love insurance - I just inherited the plan from him and paid over 100,000 yen for the year. Pretty sure this includes all types of disaster insurance plus contents.

Re: Switching mobile phone operators

I've been on B-mobile for a few years. Have Never had a problem with speed. I regularly stream radio and sometimes Netflix. Must be location related? Just did the test - 5.58Mbps. Not so great lol. Tried on my wife's DMM mobile - 27.6Mbps. Flets hikari - 130Mbps.
