Re: Credit card tsumitate increase

I suspect the card too. The securities account should really have your name correct; the card, i don’t have that confidence in. in my case it's actually securities that needed update. When registering I managed to convince them to use the actual order (passport order) instead of the wrong zairyu ca...

Re: Credit card tsumitate increase

The problem is that the kana account name for my Rakuten Shoken account includes my middle name, but the kana account name for my Rakuten credit card doesn't. The automatic error message told me to contact the Rakuten Card company, but it seems to me that this would rather be something that Rakuten...

Re: Credit card tsumitate increase

Sorry to slightly divert the thread, but I have a related question. Having read this thread I applied for (and received very quickly!) a Rakuten credit card to make my monthly Rakuten tsumetate payments. I currently have 300,000 yen cash in my Rakuten Shoken account to cover the payments for April,...

I just remembered about this and I am switching. There isn't anything better for rakuten's ideco unfortunately.

Re: Rakuten trading account / 楽天証券 is locked

This is not the case I believe, it just has to be valid. well, I tried it few weeks ago already (and with their support assisting me on call as I was also trying to match my name with rakuten card) ;) https://s.myconan.tk/2023/12/firefox_2023-12-17_11-33-51.png You can still renew your period of st...

Re: Rakuten trading account / 楽天証券 is locked

Interesting, I haven't uploaded my zairyu card* either but it didn't get locked**, I just can't do any new transactions. I'd be mildly annoyed if the setup tsumitate doesn't end up working but otherwise logging in and stuff still work (except for ideco status but it's still viewable directly on jis-...

Re: Rakuten new tsumitate nisa setup date

If you do intend to use the Tsumitate Nisa floor, bonus setting, would you please document it? Those settings tend to be cumbersome and confusing. Not the quoted person but it looks like this. Basically you set the minimum tsumitate amount (100yen in this screenshot) and use bonus settings to dump ...

Re: Name issues: examples needed

About rakuten securities, I called them about two weeks ago trying to link my card (which ended up in failure due to my residence card expiry coming up and I'm still waiting for my PR application result 9 months and counting), they claimed the whitespace doesn't matter (anymore?) when I asked how to...

Re: Rakuten All Country & SP500 fund fees lower than MUFG ones

A tragic tale as old as this site sadly. I called Rakuten card (When I had a gold card, and therefore better customer service) in English 3 years ago. They called Rakuten Shoken, and sorted it out between the two sides. It seems I was lucky? Generic 3 white person names. I.E -> Smith Steve Mcsteven...
