Re: Elementary School Public or Private Japanese School
In my case, my son went to the local public junior high school. It was not a great school, but our priority was for him to go where most of his friends from elementary school were going and where we felt he would be happiest, rather than what was educationally best for him. Re: UK tax return 3rd party provider
I've used @@@Filer from the HMRC website for the last 4 years and they've been fine. Cost is £20. The only problem I've had is that you can't attach multiple pdfs -you have to join them together in one attachment. I don't know if that's the same with the other sites.

I'd be interested to know people's opinons on this fund on Rakuten. The management fee is relatively high at 0.7755 but it seems to be really taking off due to the AI frenzy. I was thinking of doing a lump sum investment in it,(1,000,000 or so) or do people think we're in another tech bubble? Anybod...

Re: Backpaying UK Class 2 NIc's
Thanks - very interesting. I don’t suppose you have the phone number do you? Sounds like I have an evening on hold ahead of me. The number was the +44 191 203 7010 one. I was actually talking to a real live person within 5 minutes that time! I was so shocked I went completely blank and started gabb...

Re: Backpaying UK Class 2 NIc's

Re: Voting from Overseas
Off topic from the thread, but regarding the British driving licence: it's valid until 70 years old isn't it? I still have mine. It's still valid only if you are resident in the UK. As by law you need to change the address to reflect where you reside. 1,000gbp fine if you don't.. and clearly you ca...
