Any tax deductions available for prep at home for part-time jobs?
Hi all, I'm guessing the answer is going to be No to the above, but thought I would ask on the off-chance. Have had a look through the forum but couldn't see this exact question answered. I work part-time for 3 universities and wonder if I can claim any deductions from my tax for work expenses relat...

Seeking independent real estate consultant, Tokyo
Hi there, We'll be looking for an apartment to buy in the next year or two and were wondering if there's any independent consultancy firm in Tokyo that gives advice on mortgages (sensible limit and repayment schedule, location, resale prospects, etc.) for a per-session fee rather than from commissio...

Re: Best all-country option within SBI iDeco?

Re: Best all-country option within SBI?
Ah, I think - but would be very happy to be wrong - that those aren't available in SBI iDeCo; its lineup is a lot smaller than that of SBI 証券. It does have a string of eMaxis products but they're all annoying asset compounds that I don't understand with higher fees than I want to pay, rather than si...

Best all-country option within SBI iDeco?
Hi there, Holding only stocks in my SBI iDeCo account (thanks again to various people for their help with that post a while ago) and trying to decide how best to globally diversify. It feels like this is harder than it should be (by design?), as there's no cheap all-country stock fund available alon...
