Re: Changed CC tsumitate amount but doesn't appear in account

Whoops was editing when you replied. Will write it here instead. My guess for CC purchases is that they want to encourage CC use so you depend on the card, and thus use it more often elsewhere, earning them more money. But they don't want to let you invest in stocks with their money rather than your...

Re: NISA General Questions | SBI

What does your 口座管理 → 口座(円建) → 保有証券 screen look like? https://i.ibb.co/JvC2zPN/jt3.png This is not the full screenshot as you should also be able to see all accounts there including the 300 in the old NISA and potentially any others that were taxed. I want to rule out completely that you don't have...

Re: Credit card tsumitate increase

Also good luck following the instructions for how to change the settings without missing a month  Funnily enough it won't let me update the CC payment from 50k to 100k because that would take me over 1.2M projected deposits (already have it set up to do 50k cash and 50k CC from April until E...

Re: Credit card tsumitate increase

Just running the numbers on the top tier a bit more. Accounting for the missing ¥10k for the last ¥1M. If you spend ¥4M on the card you get ¥24k points from tsumitate. If you spend ¥5M on the card, you get ¥10k fewer points on the last ¥1M from the card, but get ¥36k points from tsumitate, which can...

Re: Credit card tsumitate increase

SBI: After system maintenance ends on Saturday, March 23, 2024 (midnight of March 24), you will be able to set up a credit card purchase up to 100,000 yen (for May purchases). Oh that's quite a downgrade, Even if you have the top-tier card, you still end up with 1%-3% (as opposed to 5% previously) ...

Re: Lump sum never taxed due to deductions?

I was looking at https://retirewiki.jp/wiki/IDeCo You have excellent taste, sir :D I'm not sure if I understand the question though. when I choose a lumpsum, I get ¥400,000 per year for the first 20 years of contributions Let's assume a 7% annual gain. Investing ¥23,000/mo for 20 years at 7% annual...

Re: PSA: Changing your tsumitate date could result in missed or double payments - be careful

am I wrong in thinking that the tsumitate has a maximum investment amount of ¥100,000 a month? I've not tried it myself but my understanding is that that is the maximum amount in January, but the key figure (for the Tsumitate portion) is ¥1.2M a calendar year. So after January the monthly limit is ...
