Purchasing a foreign ETF through SBI NISA: Yen or US$?

There was a discussion about whether it's better value to settle through yen, or convert to US$ then settle. But I couldn't find the thread.

So, does anyone know?

The UFJ and Nissei funds? Thanks for the heads up.

Re: Cash or loan for house renovation

Loans here are so cheap, so pretty easy to outpace the fees with investment. So I wouldn't sell your investments, they should make you more money over then next 10 years (5% p/a?) than you would save by paying upfront (1.7%p/a). Assuming the market doesn't crash... Re: Internet providers

Looks like the price increases after the first year to around 4700 yen/month. Still, a little cheaper than flets and better performance. Hopefully it expands quickly.

Yep, that's why a diversified portfolio comes in handy. Anyway, by the time you retire cash should take up a large proportion of your portfolio. Use cash reserves or sell off domestic stocks while the exchange rate isn't favourable.

Re: Asset allocations

Hedging to me just seems like another way to charge a fee. If you're in it for the long term, currency fluctuations probably won't affect you that much.

Re: Day trading with leftover NISA allowance

I appreciate the response. I haven't gotten around to it yet and probably won't. It was kind of just a spur of the moment idea. :)
