Re: Pointcards/ Point rewards programs

Any tips and tricks to ramp up points? My monthly cc bill is over 150,000 yet over the past 2 years I have only managed to accumulate 6,000ish points By the way, this looks weird. If you get 150,000 monthly on your Rakuten CC you should get 1,500 points back a month, of 18,000 a year. I suggest you...

Re: Pointcards/ Point rewards programs

Ah yes, I forgot about Rakuten Travel. There are also some good deals sometimes if you need to rent a car (and you will get +1x on Ichiba if you used Travel during the month).

Re: Fund Platforms

I asked a Japanese friend about it and he said that a lot of overseas funds are hard to buy here, so better to look at overseas companies. Re: Pointcards/ Point rewards programs

Make sure to use your credit card for everything you can (especially big or recurring expenses), that will get you 1% back in points. Of course never, ever spend more than you can and carry your balan...

Re: Pointcards/ Point rewards programs

One advantage of Rakuten points is that they can also be used with Rakuten pay or Edy, making them money you can use vi...

Re: Phone provider

Ymobile will let you keep using Softbank's network with the same performance, at a faction of the price. It's worth checking them out if you are satisfied with your network conditions.

Re: Investing in $ forex????

Ask him about all the different fees you are paying each year (in % of what you have invested, including the funds fees, his own management fee and the one his company takes, plus probably a few others), and see how skillful he will be at evading your question... If you manage to get a number, plea...
