Kyushu

Post by RetireJapan »

There's a RetireJapan/JALT event in Kita-kyushu on September 9th.

Thought that would be a good chance for people to introduce themselves on here :)

Hi Gareth

The website is here: http://hosted.jalt.org/chapters/kq/sche ... ptember/09

Recently I've been finding the best format to be a quick overview of personal finance and accounts in Japan, then a lengthy Q&A :)

I would have loved to come but Kyushu is a bit far for me :(
I hope there will be that kind of event in Tokyo too in the future!

Ha, ha, of course :)

We had a very successful RJ seminar earlier in the year in Tokyo, and a meetup a couple of weeks ago.

You can join the RJ Tokyo group here: https://retirejapantokyo.doorkeeper.jp/

I'm planning on attending the event this Saturday, and will also recommend it to some friends and colleages. I can't find any information on the location either here, on Facebook, or on the JALT site. Any chance of putting that info up?

Hi adamu

Sorry about the oversight -I only just got the venue information this evening.

However, you can find the event on the JALT page:
http://hosted.jalt.org/chapters/kq/sche ... ptember/09
on the RetireJapan Facebook page:

Hi JM

Nothing right now, but would be open to being invited by an existing group, or putting together a RetireJapan event if there were enough people interested ;)

In the meantime we will be announcing an online course for January soon -stay tuned to the blog!

There are two events in March in Kyushu :D

March 21st, lecture at Kitakyushu JALT: https://hosted.jalt.org/chapters/kq/sch ... 0/march/21
March 22nd, seminar in Fukuoka (next to Hakata Station): https://retirejapan.doorkeeper.jp/events/104044

Both are somewhat limited in terms of seats, unfortunately. Book quickly if you want to attend!
