a quick read of that moneysavingexpert link says that online forms may be adequate for a simple will but if you have any complications (such as living overseas.....) a solicitor is the best bet (they will also store it for you as part of the service), my parents seem to have someone local (to them) they were happy with so that's probably what I'll look into first. Probably worth a little extra expense for the peace of mind, especially since my wife doesnt actually speak english so is going to struggle regardless
