Hi,
I am wondering what the income tax rate is for someone who is retired but still working in Japan. For example over 65, receiving pension but working 10 hours a week at a convenience store or as a school crossing guard.
Any ideas?
Warm regards,

Re: Working in retirement
I think it's the same as any other worker: based on your taxable income with the standard deduction. If someone is only working a few hours then I'm guessing they won't owe much tax...
