Coming up to 1-year mark; do I have to do anything?

Post by AreTheyTheLemmings? »

Sorry for what's possibly an eye-rollingly elementary question.

It's almost a year since I began my Tsumitate NISA. I want to keep the account purring along as is. Do I have to do anything (apply for something, notify someone, etc.) or will it just continue into the second year and beyond?

By default at the end of each calendar year your provider will open another NISA account of the same type and your tsumitate order will continue. You should be good to go!

(but of course keep an eye on the account and investigate if things seem to be going wrong)
