Can anyone tell me what the rightmost column means in this screenshot of my t-NISA?
https://ibb.co/HD5KZ1L
I believe it means "tax-free amount".
So for my 2021 t-NISA, I paid in 33,333 x 11 months = 366,663.
I gained 29,640 in profit, giving me 396,303.
I sold 350,000 the other day, leaving me with 46,303.
Only 5270 is tax-free? So I will be taxed on 350,000 - 5270 = 344,730?
I thought any gains in a t-NISA were free of tax for twenty years, no?
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: t-NISA 非課税額(実現)
The right hand column (非課税額(実現)) is how much capital gains tax you saved (did not have to pay) because the investments were made in a t-NISA.
From your 2020 t-TISA, you had a capital gain of ¥3,052 upon sale of the portion sold (¥22,186, everything), so you saved ¥3,052 x 20.315% = ¥620 capital gains tax.
From your 2021 t-TISA you had a capital gain of ¥25,945 upon sale of the portion sold (¥350,000, partial sale), so you saved ¥25,945 x 20.315% = ¥5,270 capital gains tax.
So on the total capital gain on the sold units (¥3,052 + ¥25,945 = ¥28,997), you saved ¥5,890 by not having to pay capital gains tax.
The other figures in the 時価評価額(評価損益)show the current value and capital gain (loss) of the unsold units. The figures in the 合計 損益 (損益%) column are supposedly the combination of the unsold and sold figures. But they don't quite add up right. Don't ask me why, as I don't know

Don`t panic. They are showing you what you saved using the NISA. You do not owe tax on any of this.Roger Van Zant wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 4:37 am Can anyone tell me what the rightmost column means in this screenshot of my t-NISA?
