JNISA in SBI

Post by widseek »

Hi all,

(My apologies if there answer to this question in the forum. I searched but couldn't find)

I managed to open jnisa account to my 1 year old baby (finally) via SBI. I was a bit disappointed to see that apparently, it’s impossible to invest in eMaxim slim all country mutual fund as they don’t have it even they have it for my wife who is investing through tsumitate nisa.

I tried to look a similar type of fund but needed to use google translator and I’m afraid I couldn’t find suitable options.

Did I miss the eMaxis slim and its somewhere there?
What alternative funds there would be which would invest in the whole market?

Thank you for the help in advance!

Are you sure? The J-Nisa allows you to invest in many different product classes. The Emaxis series should not be restricted.

SBI has a very good AllCountry fund as well, check my signature.

I don't use SBI but as noted above, J-NISA lets you buy any funds and individual stocks. It should be available.
Aiming to retire at 60 and live for a while longer. 95% index funds (eMaxis Slim etc), 5% Japanese dividend stocks.
