UK Reinstate tax relief allowing mortgage interest to be set against rental income

Hi All
In case anyone is interested, here is a petition to reinstate the tax relief allowing mortgage interest to be set against rental income,

Signed, but you can incorporate to avoid this- although quite expensive.

I can imagine incorporating with its requirements and such would be more expensive, and I guess not worth doing with one apartment

Interesting that it isnt tax deductible. In Canada where I come from, mortgage interest is 100% tax deductible as it's treated as a business expense. Must be hard to cashflow rentals in the UK then.
