Has anyone switched NISA providers? Is it doable, difficult, easy? Any advice?
I foolishly opened an MUFG account and it's been a surrealistic nightmare. Two months ago they blocked my access (to my own money!) because they said the password they generated was wrong, and they've rejected my attempts to apply for a new password, etc.
Are there any tax implications if the account is shut and another re-opened with another provider, or can the tax-free period carry on as usual? Thanks.
