Trying to learn FEIE vs FTC

Hi all...

Just wondering if anyone has a good article or pointer to some info regarding US tax FEIE vs FTC. I am trying to understand this a bit more, as to pros/cons and what are situations where someone might use one vs the other. I have searched online, but so far nothing that provides some simple-ish examples.
