Recruiting staff

Post by KyushuWoozy »

Hi, I'm ready to add our first full-time team member. I'm wondering where people in Japan (locals or resident foreigners) go to search for bilingual jobs. My research so far:

- https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/japan-jobs: offer free and paid options

- https://www.careercross.com/en/: specialise in bilingual jobs, have a sales rep meeting arranged

- https://jp.indeed.com/: seems not suitable as focused on Japanese-only jobs

- https://www.glassdoor.co.jp/: sister company of above, seems not suitable as focused on larger corporations

Anything I got wrong or missed or any other suggestions?

Thanks ....

I'm alien to recruiting, but there is a monthly jobs thread over on reddit.

No idea how it compares to anything else you mention...

Thanks! Didn't know about this

Had my online meeting with sales rep, fee approx ¥500,000, only pay after candidate successfully hired. She mentioned that location (Kyushu) will be a problem as vast majority of candidates are in Tokyo. Suppose it will be even harder because we aren't even in a major city in Kyushu.

Fukuoka Now has a classifieds section, looks like you can list a job vacancy for ¥7,700. Not sure how much traction it gets.
