Has anyone had their online HMRC Pension Record /forecast updated for 2022-2023 April yet?

Mine still shows record up to 5th April 2022..
Haven’t checked yet as I only paid 2022-23 six weeks ago and I am not sufficiently optimistic to check before autumn.
I paid mine mid-May and nothing has come up yet for 2022-2023...

I'm paying them monthly via DD for few years. it looks up to date with payments up to June this year already being taken..

I got notification in the post each time I paid mine. I could see the payments go through on my bank account but usually didn’t bother looking. I had to pay 37 years for some reason. I wrote and asked why but they said they couldn’t answer for individual cases. Latest news was the triple lock is safe for another 5 years. Went up 10% last year!

Probably because you were contracted out of the system at some point. A few of us here are in the same situation, so nothing to be concerned about it seems. I don't know why they couldn't tell you when you specifically asked though. We just have to put up with their mysterious ways... the reward more than makes up for it :)

I guess you haven't reached 67 yet? Or not currently living in Japan? That 10% increase last year won't apply to British retirees living in Japan unfortunately.

Another 10 years before I intend to start taking it, so hoping for an impressive increase before then. I know it won't increase after that but hopefully Japan's inflation will be low enough it will seem like a decent amount for the rest of my life.

Yen to sterling does get a bit yo-yo esque. One downside when you might want a bit more security in your personal finances.

Has anyone had their online HMRC Pension Record /forecast updated for 2022-2023 April yet?

Mine still shows record up to 5th April 2022..
If you are paying by direct debit, all of the payments haven’t been taken yet. I’m on the six-monthly direct debit plan and the second payment for the 2022-2023 tax year will be taken on the second Friday in July 2023.

Payments for the 2023-2024 tax year will be taken in January 2024 and July 2024 if on the six-monthly plan.

It’s worth remembering this when you are getting towards your 35 years so you don’t accidentally stop paying too early.
My second and final direct debit payment for 2022/2023 was taken out of my UK bank account today and my online record has already been updated to show that the year 2022/2023 has been paid. Easy!

Ha! Nice work. Mystery solved. thank you!
I literally stumbled upon a letter from HRMC whilst looking through a pile of papers after getting distracted from my pursuit of a suitably sized plastic ear bud thing for my wired/bluetooth earphones. but I digress..
Low and behold. It doth state right there. The first payment was taken on 14th Aug XXXX for NICs due April thru May of that year.
So July would be my final monthly payment each year and I should only look for an update after that's taken.

Only six years to go and I'll be sure not to stop paying before I see evidence on the HMRC site.

I did find some spare ear buds. But these are white for some mad reason and clash like hell.
Obviously I'm still ever hopeful my kids will stop exclusively losing their left Air Pods. Then maybe I'll be able to make a pair from their cast-offs...

I applied to pay Class 2 NICs and received a letter that I had been successful for Class 2 earlier this year. Then a couple of months ago I paid the backpayments by bank transfer and sent a letter detailing which years I wanted to pay for.

However, my online HMRC record now reflects as if I am paying Class 3 contributions, with only a small number of years showing as fully paid (given the larger amount required for Class 3 payments). Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a chance they decided after all that I am only eligible for Class 3 contributions?
